In recent days there was uncertainty around Sporting Cristal, especially with the departures of Omar Merlo and Horacio Calcaterra. The national goalkeeper is aware that nobody will give anything to Sporting Cristal in 2023, for which reason he will seek to push himself to the maximum, with the aim of giving the best to the institution that once again placed their trust in him for the next season.
“Very happy with the decision to stay at this great club, which I am going to train every day with joy and enthusiasm. We have pending things to fight for and have no doubt that we will do our best to achieve them”said the goalkeeper on his social networks.
Alexander Duarte He arrived at Rímac in 2021, after his brief stint at Sportivo Luqueño in Paraguay. And in two seasons, the goalkeeper has played a total of 51 duels. Now, for next year, it only remains to see who will accompany him in the position: Tiago Nunes, the DT made official this Wednesday, will have to choose between Renato Solís, Diego Enríquez and Matías Córdova. There will be competition between the players.
