Botafogo welcomes Ceará at 4:30 pm this Saturday (6), at the Nilton Santos stadium, in the opening of the 21st round of the Brasileirão. Glorioso goes to the field looking to win again in the national competition, after being beaten away from home by Corinthians last weekend.

Alvinegro even rehearsed a reaction in Serie A, by beating Athletico-PR by 2 to 0, at Nilton Santos, for the 19th round. The triumph at home broke a streak of three consecutive defeats in the league. Now, Bota returns to play in front of his fans and goes in search of recovery in the Brazilian. The Club currently occupies the 12th place in the table, with 24 points in 20 games.

The Botafogo squad suffered from an outbreak of a gastrointestinal virus during the week and has some shortages to face Ceará. Two of them in the same position. Left-backs Marçal are out of action. In addition to the virus, Marçal had already become a concern since the match against Corinthians, due to thigh pain. DG must take the spot on the side.

The defensive system still has another change planned. Without Lucas Mezenga at the back, Kanu and Adryelson fight for position. Cuesta and Carli are back and should be options on the bench. On the offensive line, Piazon is absent and Luís Henrique appears as a favorite for the vacancy. Luís Castro should send the following lineup to the field: Gatito Fernández; Daniel Borges, Philipe Sampaio, Kanu (Adryelson) and DG; Tchê Tchê, Patrick de Paula (Eduardo) and Lucas Fernandes; Luis Henrique (Vinicius Lopes), Jeffinho and Erison.
