Grêmio beat Sampaio Corrêa 2-0, on Saturday morning (18), at Arena, in Porto Alegre, and returned to the G-4 of Série B of the Brazilian Championship. Diego Souza scored the goals of the game, valid for the 13th round of the national competition. With the positive result, the Club reaches 21 points and takes fourth place, leaving Sport behind.

To stay in the national elite classification zone, Tricolor Gaúcho will need Sport not to defeat Náutico, in a classic to be played on Saturday night (18). Even with the triumph, the team led by Roger Machado received boos from the stands and criticism on social networks during the match. In addition to the coach, striker Elias Manoel was one of the main targets.

After the victory in the Arena, the vice president of Grêmio football, Denis Abrahão, guaranteed that he has two reinforcements sent for the next transfer window: a midfielder and a striker. In addition to these, he also said that striker Renato Kayzer is on the Board’s radar. But a sector that starts to worry is the defensive system. The squad, which already has full-backs Edílson and Rodrigo Ferreira in the medical department, has now lost an important part of the starting lineup:

Argentine defender Kannemann suffered a muscle injury in his left calf this Saturday morning (18). Suspended, he participated in training at CT Luiz Carvalho, among the unrelated athletes to face Sampaio. There is still no prediction for the recovery time of the experienced defender. He will be part of the DM team, which also includes Brenno, Benítez, Elkeson and Ferreira.
