Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas left AS Monaco after his contract expired. About it reported on the club website.

Fabregas has been playing for the team since January 2019. In total, the 35-year-old Spaniard has 68 matches for Monaco, four goals and nine assists. Fabregas played only six games for the team last season due to various health issues.

Previously, Fabregas played for the English Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as the Spanish Barcelona. He became the champion of England and Spain, won the national cups of these countries, as well as the UEFA Super Cup, the Club World Cup (both with Barcelona) and the Europa League (with Chelsea).

As part of the Spanish national team, Fabregas became the world champion and two-time European champion. In total, he played 110 matches for the national team and scored 15 goals.

Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin plays for Monaco. Last season, the team took third place in the French championship.
