Which professionals go to Qatar with their national teams? An overview of the Bundesliga stars at the World Cup – some of whom also play for VfB.

Next Sunday, November 20th, the time has come: the World Cup opening game Qatar against Ecuador is imminent. The squads of the 32 participating nations have already been published – some Bundesliga professionals are also included.

Unsurprisingly, FC Bayern sends most national players to Qatar. After Sadio Mané’s short-term absence, 16 professionals will still represent their nations at the tournament.

This number is not only top in the German league, but also at international level. Because no team from other leagues sends more players to Qatar. FC Bayern shares this record with FC Barcelona and Manchester City, who also have 16 World Cup professionals.

In the picture gallery we show you how many World Cup drivers the individual Bundesliga clubs are sending to Qatar.
