Will it continue?
“TV line” opposite Stewart now hinted that it could continue after the third season. When asked about a potential fourth season of Star Trek: Picard, he replied, “If we can maintain the level of work of seasons one, two and three, then absolutely yes.”
Picard actor Stewart also talks about the “enormous potential” for future storylines about the aging former captain of the Enterprise. There would also be “open doors” for future stories after season three of the series. “We didn’t shut them all down,” Stewart revealed.
“Picard” co-creator Alex Kurtzman (49) agrees. “Anything is possible,” said the series creator with regard to a continuation of the show beyond the upcoming third season. However, this potential continuation in a fourth season would depend on the success of the new episodes from season three, which will be released on February 17 in Germany on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
