Over the last 20 years, Portugal has made a very positive trajectory in higher education, being one of the OECD countries where the increase in graduates has been more expressive. Despite this increase, great benefits persist for graduates, who benefit from significant advantages in accessing better jobs and earning wages much higher than those of less qualified individuals.
