Rua José Saramago, in the neighborhood of Nazaré, in Salvador, will have traffic banned on Sunday (19), for work to be carried out on a hospital in the region.

According to the city’s Traffic Superintendence (Transalvador), traffic will be impeded for the medical unit to park a crane on site.

The road, which connects to Av. Joana Angélica to Vale de Nazaré, will be closed from 8 am to 2 pm, when the action is expected to end. As an alternative, drivers heading to Vale de Nazaré have the option of taking the Ladeira da Fonte das Pedras, next to Arena Fonte Nova.

In a note, Transalvador informed that transit people will intensify their actions on site to guide drivers, pedestrians and passengers.

The hospital must provide a traffic monitor to order the flow of vehicles, as well as provide special signs to inform about the temporary change.
