The series of comics “Superman: Son of Kal-El” shows the life of the 17-year-old hero, taking over from his father. DC showed images and details of the relationship of the son of Clark Kent with Jay Nakamura, a hacker activist. According to Tom Taylor, screenwriter of the comic book, the first kiss of the two, who are friends, will be in the fifth edition of the series.

The new series of comics follows Kent as he becomes the new Superman of Earth and struggles with the immense responsibility, which previously belonged to the father. Meanwhile, Nakamura, a bespectacled writer with bubblegum pink hair, appears as a shoulder for the character to lean on when the task of being the superhero gets tough.

titled “Sum Of Our Parts”, the story ends with a scene in which Tim Drake, one of the men to assume the identity of Robin, rescues Bernard, an old friend, from the hands of powerful monsters. Superman: Son of Kal-El #5 will be released in print and digital versions on November 9 in the United States.
