The Batman: a new synopsis lifts the veil on some mysteries

Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight will still be a blue.

The output of The Batman is still a long way off but Warner Bros. continues to communicate around Matt Reeves’ film. This time it is a new synopsis that the studio unveils, with some new information on the “universe” in which the superhero will evolve. We are made to understand that Robert Pattinson’s Batman has only recently adopted the identity of the Dark Knight, and that his friends can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Between the lines, we can also understand that the Riddler might not be the big bad guy …

« Two years roaming the streets as Batman (Robert Pattinson) and instilling fear in criminals has led Bruce Wayne to the heart of the darkness of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies – Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Commissioner James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) – among the city’s corrupt network of senior officials and personalities, the lone vigilante has established himself as the ‘unique embodiment of revenge among his fellow citizens.
