The schedule for the 2022 school year in the City of Buenos Aires, which includes more days of classes for the students, it will be presented this Wednesday by the head of the Buenos Aires government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, together with the local Chief of Staff, Felipe Miguel, and the Minister of Education of the City, Soledad Acuña.

Over the next year there will be 192 days of classes, thus exceeding in 12 days the 180 established in the mandatory calendar. To achieve this, the return of students to classrooms will be February 21.

That day will also begin examination tables for the level secondary, while the rest of the students of the school media classes will start on February 28th. While those of first year they will do it two weeks before: February 14th.

Since 2017, first-year secondary school students in the City of Buenos Aires begin in February an “articulation” course with the primary level that seeks to reduce repetition and dropout. Something that usually happens in the early years of middle school.

The school year will end on December 21 in the Buenos Aires schools, and the Winter Break It would be the last two weeks of July as usual, although this is not confirmed yet.

The document establishes that classes against the usual day and on Saturdays are the instances provided in a mandatory way so that those who have pending knowledge in one or more curricular areas can recover and credit them. If they manage to learn everything required, they promote the biennium in December. If not, they must continue to attend strengthening classes in February 2022.
