The mobilization will be concentrated in the vicinity of the Monument to Work.
The CGT ratified this Thursday the mobilization of next Monday towards the Monument to Work to commemorate the 76 years of October the 17th of 1945 under the slogan “Development, Production and Work”, informed this Thursday the labor union in a document of its directive council.
“The organized labor movement will march next Monday towards the Monument to Work to commemorate the 76 years of the Peronist Loyalty Day under the slogan ‘Development, Production and Work’, in what will be the first major post-pandemic coronavirus mobilization “, said the CGT, who co-led Hctor Daer and Carlos Acua.
The CGT officially called for the mobilization and the Peronist act next Monday in the Avenidas Independencia and Paseo Coln, which will begin at 2 p.m. and in which all sectors of unionism aligned in the central will participate, such as the Federal Workers’ Current. (CFT) and the Argentine Trade Union Action Movement (MASA).
The slogan is “Development, Production and Work”.
The CFT is led by the head of the Banking Association (AB) and candidate for Buenos Aires national deputy for the Frente de Todos (FdT), Sergio Palazzo, and the MASA is led by the former secretary general of the taxi drivers’ union, Omar Viviani.
The labor union explained that the starting point of the mobilization will be the intersection of Avenida Independencia and Defensa, and that the social movements will also participate.
There will be no speakers and a political document prepared by the convening union organizations will be read, while the columns of workers will go towards Paseo Coln Avenue and turn towards Belgrano Avenue to the place of the event.
In turn, the Argentine Union of Private Teachers (Sadop), led by Jorge Kalinger and a member of the Federal Current, joined the Cegetista mobilization “in defense of acquired rights” on Thursday and in commemoration of the Peronist Loyalty Day.
The private management teachers will gather from 12 o’clock on Avenida 9 de Julio and Mexico and will march through Independencia towards the Monument to Work, and confirmed that “the portea and Buenos Aires sections” of the union will be mobilized to the place.
