Joaquin Niemann still in the fight to reach the PGA Championship title, because on the third day of competition he climbed several positions and was tied in seventh place in the table, in one of the four most prestigious tournaments in the world.
The Spaniard finished the day with 71 strokes (-1), which allowed him to reach a cumulative of -2 and be a serious candidate to finish on the podium. However, he is still far from the current leader of the competition: Phil Mickelson (-7).
Of course, the day did not start at all easy for the Chilean golfer, because he made a birdie on hole 3, but at flags 4, 6 and 7 he suffered with the field and ended up with three bogeys. However, this losing streak ended with four more birdies, delivering a one-shot card under par and a total score of -2.
