The death of dozens of people, this Sunday, in an attempt to reach the Italian coast, should be a definitive argument for the European Union to reach an agreement on a migration and asylum pact. This planwhich would allow a common management of the problem, has yet to be approved due to pressure from the countries of the Visegrad group (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia), which demand the construction of walls on their borders and the consequent European funding.
