Two weeks ago today, the earth shook violently in Turkey and Syria. In recent days, the world has been moved by the stories of survival of people who defied all odds and were rescued alive from the rubble of the buildings where they lived. There won’t be many more to tell. Yesterday search operations were officially suspended in most of Turkish territory.
