The “Space Dynasties” exposition was opened at the school museum in the Southern Administrative District of the capital; a pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia took part in its opening Roman Romanenko.
“Thanks to such enthusiasts as the organizers of the museum, the topic of space is still in demand. The exhibits collected here will be of interest to both children and adults. I wish the new exposition to become as popular as space itself, to become a real center of attraction for schoolchildren and inspire them for research activities, ”the pilot-cosmonaut greeted the event participants with these words.
They donated to the museum exposition personal belongings that had been in the orbit of the planet, in addition, Roman Romanenko presented the museum with a military uniform, in which he walked across Red Square, leading the Youth Army.
The Museum “From the History of Space Exploration” opened in Moscow’s Chertanovo Yuzhnoye School No. 504, back in 2017 it already has a fairly wide exposition, which includes collections of stamps and badges dedicated to space exploration, space food sets, newspapers with articles on heroes-cosmonauts and the school emblem that traveled to space thanks to the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia Oleg Kononenko.
Now another exposition has been added to the school museum, it is dedicated to the space dynasties. There are only three of them in the world and two are Russian, these are the Romanenko and Volkov families.
Also on display are posters of space explorers and photographs taken from the International Space Station.
