The Los Angeles Lakers recorded a 116-124 win on Wednesday visiting the Indiana Pacers in the NBA. The Lakers needed extra time and an insane LeBron James for that. The former MVP signed for no less than 39 points.

At the Grainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, LeBron James was in command of the visitors. In his first game after his suspension, the former MVP scored 39 points, including 8 in overtime. After regular time it was 112-112 tied. He also had five rebounds and six assists.

James, 36, was banned earlier this week after an altercation with Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart. The incident happened in the third quarter, at a score of 78-66 in favor of the Pistons. James and Stewart both tried to get the best spot around the board on a free throw for the Lakers. As the ball landed in the basket, James waved his arm wildly to the side. He hit Stewart in the face, who then tried to attack James. Stewart was sent off for his aggressive behavior. The umpires also decided to send James, who was quiet, away.

Without their star player, the Lakers lost 106-100 to the New York Knicks on Tuesday. After the tenth win of the season – against which there are also ten defeats – they are in ninth place in the Western Conference.
