Masked Singer: Eight of the ten TV show costumes are known. The last two can only be seen when they appear. But the first speculations are already out.

Unterföhring – Two days before “The Masked Singer“is starting its fifth season in Germany, the two show advisors Ruth Moschner (45) and partly also Rea Garvey (48) dare to speculate.

Only with the help of the costumes do they try to achieve the first lucky strike.

At least with the costumes you know. Because for the first time, two of the artistic garments will remain secret until they appear on TV.

These are the first assessments of the clue hunters firmly seated in the advice team:

The phoenix:

Ruth Moschner: “The costume doesn’t let anything shine through. Figure? Gesture? Do we have an athlete here at last? Boris Becker maybe? And Jogi Löw would have time too now?”

Rea Garvey: “Does that have something to do with a comeback: someone who has said goodbye to the screen or stage for a while and now returns as a ‘phoenix’?”

The axolotl:

Ruth Moschner: “Did you know that the axolotl is the favorite aquatic animal of hobby aquarist Enie van der Meiklokjes? I find that suspicious.”

Rea Garvey: “I think the star behind this mask has many different personalities, maybe an actor? No names come to mind, but I guess Axel Prahl would love the hairpiece.”

The heroine:

Ruth Moschner: “One of my favorite costumes this season. There’s someone big in it. Hopefully Helene Fischer! I mean, do we really believe the pregnancy story? Maybe it’s all just a distraction.”

Rea Garvey: “A great Nordic warrior in connection with his feminine side – that has to be Samu – finally!”

Up until this point, Rea Garvey had one or two suspicions in the back of his mind as to who might have sneaked into the show in front of his eyes.

With the remaining costumes of the TV participants only his partner Ruth Moschner dares to name specific names.

The Teddy:

Ruth Moschner: “Although he is no longer the youngest, he is much loved and unforgettable! And somehow I have to think of Hugo Egon Balder when I see his long, slim legs.”

Heidenreich at Lanz: "The main thing is diverse and the migration background is wrong!"

The skunk:

Ruth Moschner: “This skunk has class, elegance and style. Cute, but also dangerous. Maybe even Carolin Kebekus, who doesn’t mince words in her shows and always blows everyone away with insane performances!”

That Chile:

Ruth Moschner: “Finally something to eat, even if only well dosed. Could perhaps be a hint. Someone really hot that you see far too seldom on TV! What does Natalie Imbruglia actually do?”

The pug:

Ruth Moschner: “Ohhh, I want to hug him immediately in his plush fur folds. Who do all women love? Who has been dating for years? Maybe the love pug is ‘a plum’?”

The Hammer Shark:

Ruth Moschner: “I hope the hammerhead shark will be our joker, pardon: joke fish, and makes a lot of shark life on stage! Mateo from Culcha Candela would be great or Mirco Nontschew.”

The first overlaps can already be seen: TAG24 had also speculated on a “Culcha Candela” context. So a hot tip? Or is that too obvious?

We could find out on Saturday whether there was any goal. Then starts ProSieben – for the first time on Saturday – in the new “The Masked Singer” season. And already then the first costume artist will have to show his face.
