Jordan Cheyenne, an influencer youtuber U.S, is in the eye of the storm after mistakenly posting a video where he is seen forcing his son to cry in front of the cameras.
“We are heartbroken” was the title that the woman put to the recording that was supposed to inform her followers about the hospitalization of the family dog, which was diagnosed with parvovirus.
Although at the beginning it seemed like a video like any other, near the end of this Chayenne asked his son to cry for the camera lens. “Act like you’re crying”, he said to the little boy, who replied: “But I’m crying mom”.
After the controversy, the youtuber, who has accumulated more than 537 thousand subscribers, eliminated her channel and used her other social networks to defend herself from Internet users’ attacks.
“At the end of the video, I was so emotionally drained … I had my son on my shoulder and I was like ‘come pose for the thumbnail with me.”, he acknowledged. “I shouldn’t have done that.”
“I wish I could have shown us at the vet crying and affected by everything that happened. But if he did that, we already know what people will say. ‘Why are you filming your son crying? Why are you filming such an emotional moment? ‘”added.
Through his Instagram account, he said that his son was “Completely fine”, but that she herself was “In a state of shock for having allowed me to reach that level.”
“I am absolutely genuinely horrified and disgusted with myself for having come to a place where I had my son pose with me for a thumbnail photo, at such an emotional time rather than prioritizing his mental health.”, he claimed. “I am horrified, so disappointed in myself that I can’t even say it. It’s not right, it’s wrong on many levels. He will not be in my content from now on. I am completely rethinking what to do for the future “.
