The votes together David Ortiz and Alex Rodríguez for the HOF

It’s interesting to know how many votes David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez have jointly garnered for the MLB Hall of Fame.

As is already known, this is the first opportunity of the election for David Ortiz and Alex Rodríguez for the Hall of Fame in the Major Leagues.

So, as those characters made an impressive career in the majors, in addition to being figures of the great rivals Yankees and Boston, it could be thought that the characters in question could be chosen jointly on most of the ballots.

165 ballots have been publicly issued, where Ortiz and Rodríguez have jointly obtained votes in the following:

  • 4, 6, 9
  • 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19
  • 20, 21, 24, 28
  • 31, 32, 36, 38
  • 40, 41, 46,
  • 50, 51, 52, 53, 56, 57, 58
  • 62, 63, 65, 67, 68
  • 72, 74, 78, 79
  • 81, 88
  • 91, 93, 95, 98,
  • 100, 101, 109,
  • 111, 114, 115, 118, 119,
  • 121, 124, 129
  • 132, 137
  • 145, 148
  • 155
  • 161, 165.

The Dominicans have taken out jointly, that is, on the same ballot they obtained a total of 60 votes, that is, 36.36% of that vote, which represents a very interesting percentage, where Big Papi has a great opportunity to join Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, while A-Rod is above 40%, which can improve in the upcoming elections.

The chemistry between these two baseball monsters is simply great and perhaps many people would have thought that they would get a lot of votes but together and although 60 are not bad, Ortiz already has almost one foot inside the temple of the immortals, while Alex you’ll have to wait a while longer.
