For more than 15 years, Daiane Soares, 34 years old, from Corumba, carried the dream of one day being able to have her own coffee. The entrepreneur had several businesses, but none of them fulfilled her heart’s great desire. In March of this year, Daiane finally opened “Laddy Coffe”. However, this month, she reopened the space at the new address in the Santa Emilia neighborhood, in Campo Grande.
The olive green place is a colorful spot on Capitão Airton Rebouças street. Open early in the week, the establishment has an outdoor space with wooden tables, a wire chair, and the coolest thing of all is the decor.
The veranda where guests can stay to enjoy their meals is surrounded by small ornamental plants, cacti, succulents and other flower pots. Some wooden stools also complement the scenario.
With a varied menu, there is no shortage of options for residents of the neighborhood and those from other regions. The place serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and everything for a good price. Those who live far away can rest assured, as the establishment delivers at lunchtime.
Drip, coffee, creamy coffee, mocaccino, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, cappuccino, smoothie, juice, lemonade and tea are some of the drinks sold in the place. With only R$ 2 you can have a delicious coffee.
And if it’s late for breakfast, then the solution is to have lunch. Customers can enjoy oven-roasted meat, roast potatoes, coleslaw, cassava, pacu ribs, vinaigrette, braised ground beef with carrots, as well as rice and beans. The menu changes according to the day of the week and also offers a fitness option.
Do you like bread on the grill? This meal is prepared at a commercial point and has several filling options such as bait, sausage, ground beef, egg, ham and mozzarella, butter, filet mignon, parsley and mozzarella. The values to eat this option range from R$ 3 to R$ 14.
According to Daiane, the stuffed bread is the darling of the people who come to eat at the place. “Our focus was iced coffee and we thought that these and other things would hit, but what really hit was the bread on the grill”, he comments cheerfully.
In addition to leaving the clientele satisfied with the dishes sold, the owner also wants to provide a welcoming space. “I want to bring this warmth from a little place where you have the opportunity to eat a natural sandwich, drink juice and for an affordable price”, he says.
Asked how she feels about fulfilling her dream of managing the cafe, Daiane says that she wants to expand the business. “I am fulfilled, with many more dreams, because we have to dream. That’s why I’m thinking about having a Laddy Coffe 2 in the future. Some friends who live far away say I have to open it in Moreninha”, he laughs.
Laddy Coffe is located at Rua Capitão Airton Rebouças, 852, Santa Emilia district. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 6:30 am to 6 pm.
