After Adrien Rabiot’s positive corona test last Saturday, a second player from the French Nations League selection tested positive for COVID-19. It concerns defender Theo Hernandez. His positive test was announced by his club, AC Milan.
After Rabiot’s positive test on Saturday, there was some concern in the French camp. In the end, no additional infections were discovered. Rabiot had played 75 minutes against the Red Devils in the semi-final of the Nations League on Thursday. He had to miss the final against Spain on Sunday.
AC Milan stated on its website today that Hernandez tested positive at a home check-up. He is currently in isolation and doing well.
Hernandez scored the winning 3-2 in the semi-final against the Red Devils. The 24-year-old left-back, brother of Bayern defender Lucas Hernandez, played the entire game in both the semi-final and the 2-1 win against Spain.
