They compare Conor McGregor in The Joker and he answers like this

Conor McGregor is the biggest star to ever be in mixed martial arts and one of the most important in the history of combat sports. He has managed to win over a whole legion of fans who follow him wherever he goes but he has also encountered many detractors along the way. “The Notorious” is without a doubt someone who leaves no one indifferent. But, Could he be compared to Harvey Dent / Two-Face? One fan thinks so. Or at least with a well-known phrase from the famous character from the Batman stories.

Conor McGregor is the perfect example of the phrase: ‘You can die a hero or live long enough to see yourself turned into a villain’.

In all probability many will remember this phrase from the mouth of actor Aaron Eckhart in the movie ‘The Dark Knight’ (Christopher Nolan, 2008) when he pronounced it to Bruce Wayne, played by Christian Bale. Before this fan post, the Irish star answered as follows:

“And I’m still free so watch your back“.

Certainly Conor McGregor can be compared to many characters but there will always be those who see him as a hero and there will always be those who see him as a villain. We could talk about Batman himself, also about the Joker. And just looking inside the DC stories. “The Notorious” could very well have his own – in fact he does in real life – in comics or movies. It is someone you have to love or hate, there is no middle ground. Although everyone agrees that it is impossible to stop looking when the native of Ireland appears.
