In the context of the actions of the Ministry of Health for strengthening the vaccination shield of the population, especially among the young ages, the contribution of private organizations and bodies, which include the information about the vaccination against COVID-19 in the various actions they organize.
Recognizing the importance of vaccination in the effort to create conditions of safety and protection against the virus, and in the context of a series of actions to promote vaccination, in consultation with the organizers, the Ministry of Health will operate a free vaccination center as part of Epic Nicosia Street Fest, which will take place on September 16 on Stasikratous Street in Nicosia.
The vaccinations will be carried out by a mobile unit staffed by a group of volunteer Dentists from the Dental Services of the Ministry of Health, under the guidance of the General Director of the Ministry. People who will be vaccinated will be given the Pfizer vaccine. It is noted that persons wishing to be vaccinated must present proof of identification (identity card, passport, etc.), while in the case of minors, the written Parent / Guardian Consent Form for Vaccination of a Minor with V-Vaccine for CO Vaccination must also be submitted. signed by both parents / guardians, unless legally (upon presentation of a relevant Court decision) this is not necessary. When vaccinated, children 12-17 years old are accompanied by their parents / legal guardians (or one of them) or another adult.
In the area of the event, which has a charitable character, there will be an information point about the vaccination.
