The 26th round of the Brazilian Championship, this night (13) began with the victories of Flamengo and Atlético-MG, over their respective rivals. In a duel at the Maracanã stadium, Flamengo beat Juventude by 3-1 in a streak of goals from players Kenedy, Pedro and Andreas Pereira.
Juventude’s only goal in the match came 11 minutes into the second half, when William Matheus reduced the team’s disadvantage in the duel. With tonight’s victory, Flamengo reached 45 points, in second place in the table, while Juventude is 16th with 28 points.
In Mineirão, Atlético-MG also repeated the score in the victory against Santos, in a comeback. Peixe came out ahead on the scoreboard at 3 minutes into the second half, when Raniel opened the scoring.
Atlético “awakened” only after 24 minutes, when Nacho Fernández scored the first for Atlético-MG, followed by Nathan Silva. Inspired, Nacho Fernández scored another for the team 35 minutes into the match.
With the result, Atlético-MG reached 56 points, at the top of the table. Santos is in 16th place, with 28 points.
