Cristiano Ronaldo returned this Saturday to goals in the Saudi League, after three official games in white, and helped Al-Nassr to beat Abha (2-1), in the challenge of the 21st round.
At MRSOOL Park in Riyadh, Adam put the visitors in charge in the 26th minute, an advantage that was maintained until Ronaldo restored parity in the 79th minute with a free-kick. According to data from the TransfermarktRonaldo, whose free-kick percentage has been dropping over the years, scored again with a free-kick for the club almost a year later, as the last goal in this way was against Norwich, in April 2022.
After the free kick, there was a penalty. Ronaldo still grabbed the ball, but gave it to Anderson Talisca, who sealed the turnaround, at 86′, from the maximum punishment mark, already with the opponent in numerical inferiority.
With this triumph, Al-Nassr now has 49 points in second place in the championship, one behind leader Al-Ittiahad.
