As it was in their programming, the Blues traveled on a charter flight to the other side of the Cordillera to play their first match against Colo Colo for the summer tournament. Once the match is over, Santigo Escobar’s squad returns to Chile to prepare for their match against Boca Juniors next Friday.
This Friday the summer tournament begins in Argentina, with the participation of Colo Colo and University of Chile, who will be in charge of opening the fires in the hexagonal, with the first Super classic outside national borders.
This is why the University of Chile activated its bubble mode for the trip, where everything was already coordinated to fly in a charter to Buenos Aires, where they will spend the night in a hotel, and will only leave to go to the city of La Plata, where the duel will be played at Stadium One, at 9:00 p.m.
The Blues had their morning training at the Centro Deportivo Azul, where they then went home to meet again at 6:00 p.m. They had dinner and had a group talk at a hotel near the airport, where the companions themselves chose Felipe Seymour as their new captain.
After this they went to the airport, where they will arrive at night to the city of Buenos Aires, to go to the concentration hotel, in a journey that they assure should not take more than 45 minutes.
After playing the game against Colo Colo, whatever the result, the entire blue squad will return to Santiago to continue with the preseason, in addition to preparing the duel against Boca Juniors next Friday, following the same travel guidelines.
