The traffic accident occurred on one side of Manzana Kempinski, on Agramonte Street, better known as Zulueta, which has on one side the hotel, the old Manzana de Gómez, and on the other the Central Park.

According to Cubadebate, the collision occurred at 5:00 am and after the crash, seven minor injuries were reported (5 men and two women). All received immediate medical attention at the Antonio Guiteras polyclinic in Old Havana and have already been discharged.

The cause of the accident appears to have been a technical fault in the steering of the vehicle, the information says, which caused the driver to lose control of the car. Bus 604 belongs to route P8 that makes the itinerary Reparto Eléctrico-Villa Panamericana.

Traffic accidents are among the leading causes of death in Cuba. Between January and September of this year, 350 Cubans died as a result of these events and 3,700 have been injured, according to official information.
