A video circulated on social media shows a 23-year-old man being attacked by Fortaleza fans. The case occurred shortly after the Flamengo’s victory over the club from Ceará. The man in question is a supposed red-black fan.

The crime took place in the Benfica neighborhood, in the capital of Ceará, near the headquarters of GRES Leões da TUF, an organized supporter of the Fortaleza team. In the video content, it is possible to hear screams of “kill, kill” against the victim, who was sent to the hospital.

According to the ‘ge’, the Military Police of Ceará (PMCE) reported that a team from the 3rd Company of the 6th Military Police Battalion was called to act in the incident. According to witnesses, the fan would be dressed in Flamengo’s shirt. The suspects in the assault fled the scene and are wanted by the police.

Yesterday, Flamengo and Fortaleza issued a repudiation note against the case.

According to the version of the organized fans accused of the attacks, the man in question was not a fan of Flamengo, but of Ceará.
