Singer Vitão made another performance with Flor Gil at Salvador’s carnival. After sharing vocals with Gilberto Gil’s granddaughter in Claudia Leitte’s trio, the duo repeated the moment in one of the party’s cabins. The duo sang one of the artist’s songs, called “Romeo and Juliet”. Watch the video:
Before starting the presentation, Vitão highlighted the friendship between the two and also spoke about how the invitation to be at the carnival in the capital of Bahia came about.
“Florzinha and I have been very friendly lately and thanks to Flor I am having this opportunity to be here at Salvador’s carnival”, began the singer, explaining that the invitation came after the singer met the young woman and Bela Gil at a concert by Ivete Sangalo .
At another point he spoke of feeling “honored” by the invitation and the opportunity to enjoy the city’s carnival.
“I felt completely honored to be here, to be able to talk musically with you and to be received so warmly”, he thanked.
