Images of the fire in tapestry in the Center of the Capital are impressive, even those taken from afar. Videos uploaded to Campo Grande News through the Direto das Ruas channel, they provide a dimension of the seriousness of the occurrence.
Recordings made from above show dense smoke coming out of the windows of the Casa do Tapeceiro, located on Rua Barão do Rio Branco, close to the old bus station, and taking over the sky in the central region. There is still no information about the origin of the flames.
In addition to being dark, the smoke is toxic, a firefighter told the news team because of the glue and other chemicals that are burning inside the store. Inside the building, fabrics and foam are also highly flammable materials that help to spread fire.
Several Fire Department teams work at the site, which has been isolated. Rescuers, in addition to trying to contain the flames, are looking for a way to enter the building to rescue an employee who was trapped in the property.
