A 28-year-old man was taken to the police station at dawn this Tuesday (12) for attacking his ex-wife, 27, with punches and kicks to the head, in the Jardim Los Angeles region, in Campo Grande. To the police, he said that he only pushed the victim who was drunk.

According to the police report, the PM (Military Police) team was called via 190 to deal with the occurrence of domestic violence. At the scene, the victim said that she was at home when her ex-husband broke the lock on the gate with an ax and, upon entering the residence, began attacking her with punches to the face and kicks to the head.

The victim was bleeding from the face and legs when the police arrived and went with the team to the aggressor’s house. There, the author’s mother answered the gate and called the man who told the police that he had not attacked his ex-wife.

Also according to the police record, the suspect stated that he only pushed the victim who was drunk and fell face down on the ground, which is why she was injured. He was taken to the Deam (Specialized Police Office for Women’s Care) and the victim was taken to a health unit with a suspected broken nose.
