The stops and terminals in Sete Rios will be provisionally relocated from Wednesday, due to a change in road traffic. At stake are requalification works at Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado, informed the Lisbon City Council this Tuesday.
In a statement, the Lisbon City Council states that these changes will have an expected duration of 45 days.
According to the notice from the municipality, there will be a narrowing of the road on Estrada de Benfica, next to Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado, and a cut in road circulation in the square, in front of the Zoo.
“To access Estrada de Benfica, in the Sete Rios-Benfica direction, transit must be carried out through Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado, next to the Zoo. In the opposite direction, to access Praça de Espanha and Campolide, access must be made through Rua de S. Domingos de Benfica (which will only have a single upward direction) and Rua das Furnas. Domingos de Benfica will have one-way traffic”, says the note.
This intervention also implies the provisional relocation of the Carris stops and terminals located at the Sete Rios Bus Terminal.
The Carris Metropolitana terminals will remain in their current location.
