Zach Lavine leaves Warriors game with apparent injury

Friday’s game Chicago Bulls against the Golden States Warriors got off to a rocky start, as Chicago found itself down after the first quarter. Not only that, but the Bulls’ star guard, Zach LaVine, appeared to injure his knee and was forced to leave the game.

According to Charania, the Bulls ruled out Zach LaVine for the rest of the game against the Bulls. Warriors. LaVine finished the game with zero points and one rebound.

LaVine appeared to suffer the injury while looking for a rebound. He was intentionally fouled and left the game with about eight minutes left in the first period. The Bulls star was able to leave under his own power.

LaVine heads to testing, but “the focus is not an ACL injury.” Additionally, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Bulls star will have an MRI on his knee on Saturday, but it is believed he did not sustain a serious injury against the Warriors.

While Bulls fans got a real scare Friday night against the Warriors, it looks like the team dodged a bullet with Zach LaVine’s injury.
